NEW YORK (January 24, 2024) - Split-T Management has signed former world title challenger Angelica Rascon.
Rascon, 32 of El Paso, Texas has a record of 11-2 with two knockouts.
Racon will be managed by Brian Cohen.
"We are very happy to be working with her and navigate her to a world title. Angelica is fighting on March 1st in her hometown of El Paso Texas at the County Coliseum," said Cohen.
Rascon turned professional on February 28, 2014 with a fourth round stoppage of Adilemme Murrieta. She also has a win over previously undefeated Johanna Porras.
Rascon has fought 10 fights in Mexico and came up short in losing a decision to Yamileth Mercado on June 26, 2021 in a battle for Mercado's WBC Super Bantamweight title.
Rascon is coming off a career best win as she took a majority decision over the highly regarded Mia Ellis (7-1) on December 1st in Houston, Texas.
