This is the first time in company history that a female fighter has inked with All Star, breaking a 60 year barrier. Nicaragua's Eveling Ortega became the first ever WBO Latina champion in the country's history on October 27th, outpointing Silvia Duran over 6 hard fought rounds to claim the vacant belt on a world title bill televised on ESPN Knockout and ESPN+ from Alexis Arguello Arena. Ortega is on a hot streak since linking with Marcello Sanchez of Pinolero Boxing, who has been able to guide her career around.
