They currently have an 13-3 win-loss record in the Northern Division standing following a 11.5-9.5 beating of Toledo-Xignex Trojans and a 17.5-3.5 triumph over Iloilo Kisela Knights.
Pasig City King Pirates still on top with a 16-0 slate following a 16.5-4.5 win over NegOr SAGAR Sports and a 17-4 demolition against Davao Durianburg Stallions.

San Juan Predators (14-2), on the other hand, maintained their number 2 position with a 18.5 -2.5 victory over RCM Cebu Niños and a 19-2 win over NegOr SAGAR Sports.

After losing the blitz game against Toledo-Xignex Trojans, 5.5-1.5, the Cavite Spartans bounced back in the rapid event, 10-4, on full points by GM Aleksey Sorokin (Board 1), FM Carlos Edgardo Garma (Board 4), Alexis Emil Maribao (Board 6) and Kevin Mirano (Board 7) and a split by GM Rogelio "Joey" Antonio Jr. (Board 2) and WIM Bernadette Galas (Board 3).

"It was a good pair of victories for us. We just have to keep our team at the upper part of the Northern Division standings," said Antonio, who drew with FM David Elorta of Toledo in the blitz game.

"We had a tough time against Toledo in the blitz but good thing we were able to recover in the rapid game," said Michael Metrio, who brought down IM Rico Mascarinas of Toledo in the blitz portion.
