SALUDAR SCORES SPECTACULAR 1ST ROUND KO AGAINST KURIHARA TO CAPTURE OPBF CROWN

Froilan Saludar scored a spectacular first-round victory against WBC World Rank Number 3 Bantamweight and reigning OPBF Bantamweight Champion, Keita Kurihara, last night at Ariake Arena, Tokyo, Japan
Saludar, in a breathtaking display of power and strategy, stopped Kurihara in the first round to capture the OPBF Bantamweight title. This victory has elevated Saludar's standing in the bantamweight division.
The match was riveting right from the start, with Saludar employing an aggressive strategy that saw Kurihara down three times in the first round. Each knockdown was a testament to Saludar's preparation, technique, and sheer determination to triumph over a formidable opponent.
The crowning moment came when the referee had to call the match off, awarding the victory to Saludar and marking the end of Kurihara's reign as the OPBF Bantamweight Champion.
