The rising-star Herlan Gomez (10-1, 7 KO's) of Bacolod, Negros Occidental, is featured in one of the show's main fights, taking on more-experienced 40-fight veteran former IBF Asia Champ Komgrich Nantapech of Udon Thani, Thailand. Both fighters easily made weight during the official weigh-in ceremony today, looking fit and ready for action. Fresh from his thrilling round one KO win one month ago in Dubai, U.A.E., the pogi Herlan, 24, pushes forward his boxing career with another important mission. Herlan Gomez and Komgrich Nantapech face off during Wednesday's weighin in Bangkok. The young Visayan warrior, born in Saravia, has already started to getting noticed in the Land of legendary warrior LapuLapu, gaining fans who root for him as he makes his way into the future with faith. Deeply religious and a committed Christian, Herlan Gomez has all the tools to succeed in boxing, and that's why his battle for the WBC Asia Silver Bantamweight Belt is so important. A win might get Herlan Gomez into the WBC's top 40 bantamweights in the Planet. Boxing fans outside of Thailand will be able to watch the live action for free from the official live stream of the broadcasting television station MVTV. At the same time, the show will be streamed live from the YouTube channel and the Facebook page of the promotion company Highland Boxing. ADOR TORRES IN ACTION TOO! A strong 28-year-old Bicolano southpaw will be swimming in rough waters too. Let's make no mistake about it. However, Ador Torres (9-4-1, 6 KO's), looked impressive during the official weight-in ceremony, making weight without problem at 147 pounds. Ador Torres and Detrit Sit Saithong are ready for battle. The shy but powerful Ador will defend his ABF (Asian Boxing Federation) Welterweight Belt against the furious fists of slightly taller former Muay Thai combatant Detrit Sit Saithong, a man with much more fighting experience than Ador. It's a tough mission for Ador, as well as an important assignment. Because if Ador wins, he would go on to fight for the WBC Asia Continental Title on October 26 here in Bangkok. Brilliant opportunity. A defeat would be really bad. Will Ador finish the required job, defend his regional Asian belt, claiming the right to fight for another strap, advancing his career?
