Here is what Hermosillo had to say about his recent training camp, his matchup with De Luna, fighting in the main event of a new boxing series, and more.

On his recent training camp:

“I had a good amount of time to get ready for this fight, so my training camp was very productive. I worked on a lot of footwork drills and sitting on my punches more. My trainer Eddie Gonzalez has me in tremendous shape.

On his matchup with Alexis De Luna:

“De Luna is a young hungry fighter who is looking to make a name for himself. His only loss was a split decision so he could easily be undefeated. I have a few tricks up my sleeve that I know will be a problem for him. I feel my experience will be the key to victory.”

On fighting in main event live on FOX Deportes:

“I can’t wait to fight on FOX Deportes, its something I’ve been looking forward to since the fight was announced. I’m going to take full advantage of the opportunity and bring the fight to my opponent. This fight will be an all out Mexican war.”

On fighting at the Infinite Realty Studios on an exciting new boxing series:

“I’ve been to these studios, and they are incredible. Everything is top notch, and the show is going to look fantastic on television. I’m happy to be headlining “New Blood” and I won’t disappoint, I’m going to let my hands go and give the fans a great show.”

This event is sponsored by, Bud Light, HUSTLER Casino, LA's only luxury Casino and Shoe Palace.
