Actub Loses in Thailand

KIM “Bonecrusher” Actub of Iligan City dropped a unanimous decision to undefeated Sheau Ru Yang of Taiwan and failed to win the WBC Asia female super flyweight title last August 31 at the Spaceplus Bangkok RCA in Bangkok.
The scoring judges were Ratchakorn Darapan (98-92), Joseph Gwilt (99-91) and Thawuth Pluemsamran (97-93), who were all in favor of Yang.
The 30-year-old Actub suffered her 12th loss against eight wins and one draw while Yang improved her record to five wins with no loss or draw.
Meanwhile, light flyweight Marco John Rementizo scored a technical knockout in the 2nd round against Jinnawat Sitchansing of Thailand in the undercard.
Rementizo improved to 15 wins against four losses with 12 knockouts.
The boxing event is promoted by NARI-Highland-Spaceplus International Promotions composed of Supanat Chanram, Baris Erdogan of Tunal Academy and Brico Santig of Highland Boxing Team.
