ORLANDO GONZALEZ USING ROBEISY RAMIREZ EXPERIENCE AHEAD OF RAMIRO CESENA CLASH PhilBoxing.com Wed, 26 Jul 2023 Orlando Gonzalez heads to Kissimmee, Florida tomorrow night where he will collide with Ramiro Cesena on ProBox TV’s Wednesday Night Fights. Puerto Rico’s Gonzalez (20-2, 12 KOs) is scheduled to go 10 rounds with his Mexican rival in the super featherweight division in the evening’s main event. “I know Ramiro Cesena, he’s a good fighter.” Gonzalez said. “He was unfortunate in the fight with Thomas Mattice. I’m sure he will bring everything he’s got tomorrow night. I’ve been training for seven and a half weeks for this fight, I’ve done 101 rounds of sparring ahead of this fight. I feel good coming into this fight, it’s my third fight now 135 pounds and I feel natural at this weight. I think it is a great contest, I believe this will be the closest fight Have in my career.” Gonzalez’s biggest name on his resume is Robeisy Ramirez. He faced the world title hopeful in 2021, the fight going in favour of the Cuban winning the unanimous decision. “I needed that fight in my career.” Gonzalez said of his fight with Ramirez. “Even though I lost that fight I learnt so much from facing such a great fighter, he’s a future world champion for sure. It was the first loss in my professional career, I have had one since too, but I learnt a lot from sharing the ring with Ramirez, especially in the final rounds. As a fighter you need to be in good fights or you don’t improve or go anywhere in this business. Tomorrow night in Florida we have a great fight, Puerto Rico Vs Mexico. Like I said this could be one of the most entertaining fights I've had, it will certainly be competitive. I will be good to get back in the ring, and with Cesena too. I suggest every boxing fan to tune into ProBox TV, Puerto Rico Vs Mexico is always a great fight.” Watch ProBox TV’s Wednesday Night Fights at no cost on Youtube and Facebook.
