PLANIA CRUSHES GERALDO IN ROUND ONE

Sanman’s superbantamweight sensation “Magic” Mike Plania (now W28 KO15 L2) made a quick job of veteran Mark Anthony Geraldo by disposing him in the opening round. Plania went straight to his mission battering Geraldo with combinations which backed him up the ropes. Before the first minute Geraldo was caught by sharp right hook to the head which sent him to the canvas. Geraldo albeit stunned rose back to fight but the same shot caught him again in the temple this time ending the night for him. Geraldo has only been stopped thrice in his career but Plania’s power made this one the most brutal stoppage for the tough veteran.
In the supporting bout, super bantamweight prospect Gabriel Tapales stopped Jaeger Bereño in the third round. Bereño kissed the canvas thrice during the fight. In the curtain raiser, Ricky Cristobal knocked out MB Baselesco in the third round. It was areal fight between the two warriors as Cristobal was also knocked down in the opening round but dominated the rest of the fight until the third-round stoppage.
Sanman gym was filled with boxing fans and they were not disappointed as all bouts ended in dramatic knockouts. Sanman CEO Jim Claude Manangquil was please with the turn out of the event. “It was a great event with the professional and amateur boxers. We are always thankful to our ever supportive boxing fans”, Manangquil said.
