UNIFIED WORLD CHAMP TAPALES TO BE HOME ON APRIL 17

After his recent upset over Uzbec Champion Murodjon Akhmadaliev, newly crowned WBA/IBF Super Bantamweight Champion Marlon Tapales will be back home on April 17 at 5:40 in the morning(NAIA1). The two division champion is expecting a heroes welcome and will be accompanied by Sanman CEO JC Manangquil, trainer Ernel Fontanilla, Ramon Falgui and Christopher Amen Farias.
Tapales was the heavy underdog against the undefeated defending unified champion but shocked the boxing world when he went technical instead of his usual aggressive style thus escaping with a decision win. “I am very excited to share and celebrate my success with my countrymen and my family. I cannot wait to be home. I am thankful for all the support I got from everyone especially from my team”, Tapales stated.
