Fire Fist Boxing and Reyes Boxing Announce Partnership PhilBoxing.com Wed, 08 Feb 2023 Tampa, FL (February 7, 2023) – Fire Fist Boxing Promotions and Reyes Boxing Promotions are proud to announce they’ll join forces under the name Reyes Fire Fist Boxing Promotions. Headquartered in Tampa, FL Fire Fist's stable includes undefeated NABA middleweight champion and WBA #5 ranked contender Connor Coyle, NABA super middleweight champion/WBA #5 and WBC #7 ranked Yamaguchi Falcao and lightweight contender Willian Silva. Fire Fist’s cards have taken place throughout the Tampa Bay region and their fighters have been featured on ESPN, HBO, Bally Sports Network, CBS Sports Network and UFC Fight Pass. “I’m excited to officially join forces with Reyes Boxing,” said Caliguire, who co-promoted with Reyes on multiple occasions. “Mike Reyes is extremely knowledgeable and has great connections in boxing. He promoted and matchmade his cards up in Massachusetts while also running the Reyes Boxing Club which is very impressive. Our combined resources and ability to promote shows in different parts of the country will greatly benefit the fighters.” Based in Salem, MA, Reyes Boxing’s provided an opportunity for fighters to stay active while building their fanbase throughout the New England and beyond. Several Reyes’ boxers appeared on major fight cards throughout the US. His stable includes unbeaten prospects Gabriel Morales, Chris Thompson, Joe James, Harry Gigliotti, Rodrigo Correa, Danna Bolano and Sergio Martin Sosa among others. “Jody and I have built a great relationship the last few years,” said Mike Reyes. “He is a fair, honest person who always has the fighter’s best interest at hand. The most important thing is we’re on the same page when it comes to the boxing business. We’re going to be extremely transparent with everybody involved because that’s the proper way of conducting business.” Reyes Fire Fist Boxing Promotions' inaugural card is scheduled for Saturday, April 29 at the Hilton Carillon in St. Petersburg, FL, followed by a show Saturday, June 24 at the Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, MA and back in St. Petersburg Saturday, July 15 at the Marriott Carillon. Reyes Fire Fist Boxing Promotions will announce additional 2023 dates in the near future.  |
