Gas Island wins RED Sports 3x3 cagefest

GAS Island ruled the 16 Under division of the RED Sports 3x3 Year End Pocket Tournament held at the Immanuel School of Davao last December 28.
The Gas Island Mega Mastiffs defeated Unknown Jrs, 17-14 in the finals to earn the championship.
Powered by Vegas Basketball, the Gas Island was composed of Adriane Macavinta, Remark Delima, Edric Villasor and Marco Sabio, who also earned the Most Valuable Player award.
Meanwhile, F2 Logistics Mini Rottweilers, also owned by Vegas Fuels Basketball and powered by Farma Auto Supply, settled for first runner-up in the 14 Under division.
F2 Logistics lost to SRMC, 9-11 in the finals. The Mini Rottweilers were Zorosh Fernandez, Kurt Molate, Ryan Radaza and Rowe Tavita.
The Gas Island and F2 Logistics were both mentored by Coach Prince Macavinta.
A total of 50 teams was action in the one-day tournament organized by RED Sports headed by Rael Diaz.
