PINOY MARK ARQUIZA FACES KALEB KOZAK IN MELBOURNE ON MAY 1

On Saturday May 1st, MSAC Stadium in Melbourne will host the first boxing match in Australia after the new Covid Trans-Tasman Bubble travel hub takes place.
Filipino born Mark Arquiza of Quezon City fights Kaleb Kozak in a lightweight contest.
Arquiza now lives and work in Auckland, New Zealand and will travel to Melbourne to fight Kozak for the Bob Rose Cup without the strict quarantine protocol. The Trans-Tasman Bubble which allow Australians and New Zealanders to travel between the two countries without quarantining has just been approved this week.
Arquiza is fresh from a third round knockout win over Said Salem last October. Salem was undefeated before Arquiza knocked him out. Arquiza also plans to the same against Kozak who is undefeated at 4-0.
The May 1st card features nine bouts including Australia's rated boxer Matt Sheehan who will go up against Michael Van Nimwegen for the Victorian State Title. It is promoted by Kings of Kombat Ultratune and Peter Maniatis Events and can be viewed on Epicentre TV PPV stream. A crowd of up to 1,500 people is allowed. The first bout starts at 6pm.
