Boxeo Telemundo Winter Season Recap Airs Tonight

Miami,FL; Boxeo Telemundo 2021 Winter Season will conclude tonight live from the Telemundo studios with a recap of undercards fights and interviews unseen throughout the series. The evenings main attraction will be a battle of light heavyweights that took place March 5th from Osceola Heritage Park Events Center. Rafayel Simonyan(9-1 8 KO's) of Vanadzor, Armenia squared off against Abraham Tebes(6-0 2 KO's) of Ibquique, Chile in a 8 round bout.
Simonyan and Tebes left it all on the line as Simonyan was able to find success in the early rounds, using his range to keep Tebes at bay with his boxing. As the fight went on Tebes worked his way on the inside landing the cleaner shots and taking control of the fight as the judges saw enough effort to pull off the Unanimous decision win in his United States debut. The bout was bought to you by All Star Boxing, Inc in association with 360 Promotions.
In other undercard action, Local Lightweight Nestor Alvarenga(2-0-1) of San Salvador, Salvador faced Usiel Hernandez(2-1) of Acapulco Guerrero, Mexico in an entertaining 4 round bout. The fight was back and forth throughout all rounds which ended up in a majority decision.
Boxeo Telemundo has added a different format to the series by bringing in new talent. Karim Mendiburu now joins the show as a studio host boosting more than 16 years experience covering major boxing events for Telemundo Deportes sports show Titulares y Mas. Jorge Calvo and Andres Bermudez will call the play by play action of the bouts with added commentary from Boxing contributor including Claudia Trejos, Maria Del Mar Torres & Omar Amador.
