BOXING’S ‘GWOAT’ CLARESSA SHIELDS PICKS FOOTBALL’S ‘GOAT’ TOM BRADY TO WIN SUPER BOWL LV TONIGHT

PhilBoxing.com

Nine-time boxing world champion Claressa Shields says six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady will lead his Tampa Bay Buccaneers to victory today over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV.

Known as female boxing’s “GWOAT,” Shields is the only American, man or woman, to win back-to-back Olympic gold medals and, as a pro, has won world championships in three weight divisions faster than any man or woman in history, believes Brady’s record 10 Super Bowl appearances and six Super Bowl victories make him the NFL’s GOAT. Tonight, in Super Bowl LV, the 43-year-old Brady, in his twenty-first year in the NFL and first at the helm of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will attempt to extend his historic legacy by defeating the reigning champion Kansas City Chiefs, led by superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

“The Chiefs are the reigning champs and Patrick Mahomes has been amazing, but there is only one GOAT,” said Claressa Shields. “Tom Brady has a history of making his teams great, and in big games, he’s at another level. I’ve got to go with Brady and the Buccaneers.”

And while Brady seeks his record seventh Super Bowl victory this evening, Shields — who recently announced her plans to become a two-sport star like Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders by fighting in MMA with the PFL — will attempt once again to make history of her own on Friday, March 5, when she battles fellow undefeated champion Marie Eve Dicaire in a 10-round 154-pound unification showdown to headline the “SUPERWOMEN: SHIELDS VS. DICAIRE,’ event, an “herstoric” night of world-class all-female boxing.

Emanating from the Dort Financial Center in Flint, Michigan, “SUPERWOMEN: SHIELDS VS. DICAIRE will be broadcast live via InDemand to the major cable, satellite and telco outlets, as well as on livestreaming platform FITE.TV (9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT). In honor of this year’s International Women’s day (Monday, March 8, 2021) and presented by Salita Promotions in association with Groupe Yvon Michel, SUPERWOMEN: SHIELDS VS. DICAIRE is available for the price of just USD $29.95.

The supporting bouts will highlight some of the best female talent of today and for the future including undefeated 6-foot tall 198-lb heavyweight Danielle Perkins, powerful undefeated Floyd Mayweather Sr.-trained light heavyweight Nadia Meknouzi and super-talented current WBA interim super welterweight champion Raquel Miller in bouts to be announced soon.
