Ring King Donut Cup Arena to Chester Neil Reyes

Chester Neil Reyes of Rodriguez, Rizal topped the Ring King Donut Cup Arena dubbed as Ashan Dee birthday celebration online chess tournament last Tuesday, October 27, 2020.
Reyes, the top player of the National University under the watchful eyes of coach United States master Jojo Aquino, finished with 102 points in 37 games for a win rate of 81 percent and performance rating of 2603.
He captured the overall title in the online-only event organized by Bayanihan Chess Club and sponsored by Ashan Dee and Mr. Wagish Kumar Rai of Frontier Wheels.
Sherwin Tiu of Manila took the second spot with 78 points on 39 games and a win rate of 62 percent for a performance rating of 2482.
In third place is Rommel Ganzon of Cebu who had 75 points on 35 games and a win rate of 69 percent for a performance rating of 2498. Also with similar 75 points is fourth placer Fide Master Roel Abelgas of Dasmarinas City, Cavite.
Rounding up the top 10 finishers were Chin Lim of Quezon City (5th), Singapore based Fide Master elect Robert Suelo (6th), Kevin Arquero of General Trias City, Cavite (7th), Narquingel Reyes (8th) and Fide Master Narquingden Reyes of Rodriguez, Rizal (9th) and Adrian Esteva of Antipolo City, Rizal (10th).-Marlon Bernardino-
