ANOTHER BOHOL UP-COMING PROSPECT AGREES TO SIGN WITH GOLDEN BOY

PhilBoxing.com

In a interview today with Philboxing, Golden Boy Promotions Vice-President Eric Gomez has informed that the Philippines has yet another hot prospect in Ciso "El Terrible" Morales.

Only 18 years old with an outstanding super bantamweight height of 5 feet-8 inches and having established an unblemished professional record of 7 wins-0loss-4kos, Morales looks sure to be another hot prospect again to come out of Talibon, Bohol, Philippines.

"The word is that this kid can bang, however, in his young stage we still need to see how this kid handles himself in his future matches. Our partner SGG Sports Promotions revealed that the managers have shown interest in signing with GBP and we are open to all prospects, we look forward to working with this kid," Gomez said.

Long time OPBF manager Florencio Rontal along with his son co-manager Kenneth, who both manage Morales, have assured Sammy Gello-ani and GBP Eric Gomez that they have an intent to sign with Oscar Dela Hoya's promotional outfit Golden Boy Promotions first thing next year.

Morales is scheduled for another bout October 30th in Maranding, Lanao Del Norte, Philippines and another before the year ends.

The Rontals believe that Morales will be a force to be reckoned with in the Jr. Featherweight to Lightweight divisions because of his height and reach with power in both hands.

"We kept Morales a TOP SECRET until now, we believe its time to reveal this fighter especially that GOLDEN BOY PROMOTIONS has shown interest in signing up prospects. They have done a good job for Penalosa, Bautista, Gabi and Jaca. We have the fighter that fits GBP, they can provide the best fights out there for us and we want to fight the best to show everyone in Philippines that our fighter is the best," Rontal said.

In his younger days, Ciso "El Terrible" Morales holds a knock-out win against another prospect Jason Pagara in the amateurs who is now currently undefeated in the professionals. Ciso Morales who is nicknamed "El Terrible", after the renowned Mexican Erik Morales, believes that he will be the one who will continue Erik Morales' legacy because of his similar fighting style and fighting spirit.

Coincidentally, not only having the same last name as Morales but believing that he too has Spanish blood, will give not only Filipino fans but also Mexican fans something to look forward to. Ring name "El Terrible" was given to him because Ciso idolized Erik's courage as a world champion who everyone knows registered the only win against Manny from the three big named Mexican that Pacquiao had faced.

Close communication is ongoing with SGG Sports Promotions' Sammy Gello-ani along with Eric Gomez to propose an IBF or WBO regional title for Ciso "El Terrible" Morales in the undercard of the proposed GBP this coming February rematch clash of Gery Penalosa vs. Daniel Ponce De Leon II.
