MILENDO WINS WBO ASIA PACIFIC CROWN IN CAGAYAN DE ORO AS SONSONA LOSES OPBF TILT IN JAPAN

Undefeated ALA Boy Milan Milendo has won the vacant WBO Asia Pacific minimumweight title a few hours ago with a fourth round technical knockout victory over Thailand's Nuapayak Sakkririn.
The end came at the 2:58 mark of the round.
The victory improved Milendo's record to 13-0, 4 KO's.
The title was recently vacated by another ALA Boy, Donnie Nietes, who took the world crown recently with a unanimous decision over Thailand's Pornsawan Kratingdaenggym.
Meanwhile, Eden Sonsona lost via split decision against Kohei Kono of Japan at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, also hours ago, according to a report posted at boxrec.com. Sonsona dropped to 12-2-0 (2KOs) while Kono improved his record to 23-3-0 (7KOs).
