Coach Ederwin Estavillo is ready

Coach Ederwin Estavillo, with the support of General Trias City Mayor Jon Jon Ferrer, is ready to field three teams for the opening of the 2026 Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines Inc. - IIEE Midyear National Convention Chess Tournament on May 8, 2026, at the Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club, Brgy. Javalera, General Trias City, Cavite. Games start at 1:00 PM.
"We expect to deliver a good performance in this event," said Coach Ederwin Estavillo, president of the General Trias City Chess Club.
The local and international tournaments of the General Trias City Chess Club are supported by Mayor Jon Jon Ferrer, Vice Mayor Jonas Labuguen, and Cong. Ony Ferrer.
The members of the competing teams are General Trias City Chess Club Team 1 is composed of Bonjoure Fille Suyamin, Jirah Floravie Cutiyog and Giecel Pacubat; the General Trias City Chess Club Team 2 spearheaded by Darvin Jace Manalo, Carl Christian Yamson and Maureen Lepaopao; and the IIEE Southern Cavite Chapter led by Stephen Von Estavillo, Jireh Dan Cutiyog and Charly Jon Yamson.
