Undefeated featherweight Joseph Diaz of Downy, CA completely ouboxed Horacio Garcia of Guadalajara, Mexico the whole night and retained his NABF featherweight title on main undercard of the Hopkins vs Smith WBC International light heavyweight championship at The Forum in Inglewood, CA Saturday night. Judges Tom Carusone, Max DeLuca and Pat Russell gave all the rounds to Diaz with identical scores of 100-90.
Diaz improved to 23-0-0 with 13 stoppages while Garcia suffered his second defeat and went down to 32-2-1, 22KOs.
