NBA -- Anthony's late J lifts Knicks over Wolves​

MINNEAPOLIS - Karl Anthony Towns played like there is no tomorrow, scoring a career-best 47 points while grabbing 18 rebounds in 42 minutes of pay.
Unfortunately, it wasn't enough as the Minnesota Timberwolves fell to the New York Knicks, 106-102, at the Target Center, thanks largely to Carmelo Anthony's clutch shooting.
Knicks rookie Kristaps Porzingis also turned in a stellar performance with 29 points 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocks in 39 minutes. But it was Anthony's jumper in the final 2.3 seconds of play that sealed Minnesota's doom.
"With Towns (Karl-Anthony) the way he's playing, Kristaps getting better and better each day, they'll be around for a long time and, you know, they'll be the face of this league in a couple years " Anthony said.
"I think it was a good show for every body, but the most important is we got the win" Porzingis told the press. Former Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah did not saw action last night due to sprained left ankle.
