The official weighin for the unified light heavyweight battle between defending WBO/IBF/WBA world champion Sergey Kovalev of Russia and challenger Andre Ward of Oakland, California got underway Friday afternoon at the MGM Grand Arena in las Vegas. Kovalev (30-0-1, 26KOs) and Ward (30-0-0, 15KOs) are both undefeated and the winner will most likely crowned as the world No. 1 pound for pound fighter on the planet.
