NBA-- Kings and Heat eye big trade

LOS ANGELES -- According to multiple reports, including ESPN, the Sacramento Kings and the Miami Heat are pursuing a huge trade just as the 2016-17 NBA season kicks off next week.
In the proposed deal, the Kings will send the 6-foot-8 Rudy Gay and Darren Collison to Miami for prolific point guard Goran Dragic. The deal reportedly allows the Heat to acquire a proven scorer who can fill the void left by Chris Bosh while the Kings will get a high-caliber point guard for big man DeMarcus Cousins.
Gay, a 12-year NBA veteran, appeared in 70 games last season and averaged 17.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per. The 6-foot-3 Dragic, who has 10 NBA seasons under his belt, normed 14.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists with the Heat.
"I wake up every day and get ready to play the next game. I'm with the Sacramento Kings. I prepare as if I am going to be with the Sacramento Kings," Gay told ESPN.com as he tried to down play the trade rumors.
