EARLY RESULTS FROM LAS VEGAS: ROACH JR, ELLIS REMAIN UNDEFEATED

LAS VEGAS -- Below are the early undercard results of Canelo Alvarez vs Amir Khan super fight at the T-Mobile Arena here in Las Vegas Saturday afternoon.
In the third fight of the afternoon for 8-round lightweight bout, Lamont Roach Jr of Washington, DC kept his record clean (11-0-0, 3KO) with a unanimous decision win over Jose Arturo Esquivel (9-5-0, 2KO) of Chihuahua, Mexico (top photo). Scores: all 79-72 in favor of Roach Jr.
2nd fight: Rashidi Ellis (15-0-0, 11KO) of Boston gave a tough Marco Antonio Lopez (24-10-0, 15KO) of Mexico a boxing clinic in their 8-round super welterweight bout. Scores: all 80-72 in favor of Ellis.
First fight: David Mijares of Santa Monica, CA made a successful debut with a unanimous decision win over Omar Reyes (1-3-0) of Corpus Christie, TX. Scores: all 40-36 in favor of Mijares.
