Little Rock -- After a 35-minute jogging this morning, Rodel Mayol, Mercito Gesta and Bernabe Concepcion were already in their target weight limits.
Rodel is 108 lbs. even for his IBF Junior Flyweight challenge. Gesta weighs 128 lbs, 4 pounds under his 132 lbs. maximum weight limit. Bernabe is 122 lbs even for his NABF Super Bantanweight Championships.
The weigh-in will be this friday Aug. 03, '07.
Rodel told me that his preparations are more intense than his fight with Eagle Kyowa.
Also, Rodel emphasized that he's more conditioned right now but he's asking for our prayers to help him snatch the crown.
I told Rodel that Paclanders were discussing that he looked like "Totoy" (young kid), Rodel said yeah I've read that one. But remember Ulises is a legitimate Junior Flyweight, and I'm climbing from 105 lbs. Don't worry I felt more powerful on this weight class (108 lbs) Rodel disclosed.
He also said that he liked that guy who said that I maybe like Totoy but I'm a Totoy Bato!
