AMONSOT CUTMAN SAYS EVERYTHING IS FINE
By Salven L. Lagumbay PhilBoxing.com Mon, 23 Jul 2007
Hereunder is an email message from Tony Martin, sent a few minutes ago. Martin was the cutman for Czar Amonsot in his fight against Michael Katsidis yesterday:
I wont go into the the reasons why he could have won the fight, only the fact that he fought one hell of a fight, showing the true spirit of a brave and big hearted fighter, every one should be proud of him, as we are here.
Considered to be the best fight of the night, plus the ring side comments------Best Fight Of The Year. What more can be said.
I have just left Czar's bed side at the hospital he is in great spirits, laughing and joking with me, just wants to go home. He spoke with his mother over the phone, just to put her mind at rest that he is OK.
Have talked with some of the hospital staff here, who in turn informed me that tomorrow morning he will have one more test, should all be well he will be released with a clean bill of health.
The Nevada Athletic Commission are very strict here, hence the reason why Czar has had so many tests plus the hospital has to be one hundred percent sure before they can release him, because of the legal side of things.
See you in Sacramento buddy.
Best Regards
Tony Martin
