Jonas ?Zorro? Sultan scored the biggest win of his young career when
he beat former Philippine jr.flyweight champ Jerson Mancio by KO at
2:11 of the 5th round in a fight held at the Murcia Sports and
Cultural Center in Negros Occidental.
Sultan is now 7W-2L,5 KO?s while Mancio goes down to 18-6-3,9KO?s.
This bout served as the main event of the ALA-Cobra ?Tunay na Lakas?
boxing event held in the hometown of WBO world jr.flyweight champion
Donnie ?Ahas? Nietes. The lone world champion of the ALA gym also had
an exhibition bout for the fans after the fourth fight of the night
against up and coming Gerard Suico.
For the other results - Geo Santisima won by 6th round TKO against
Boyce Sultan, Jefcon Concerman beat Raul Yu by unanimous decision,
Pete Apolinar won by unanimous decision against Jun Ryan Quimbo ,
Virgel Vitor alos got a unanimous points win against Kenneth Neron.
Joepher Montano beat Paul Varona by unanimous decision, Ernesto Alera
won by unanimous decision over Jonnel Burlado and Elmer Libo-on beat
Richard Lumogdang by KO in the first Time ? 2:03.
