ALA-COBRA ?TUNAY NA LAKAS? BOXING IN MURCIA

The hometown of WBO junior flyweight world champ Donnie ?Ahas? Nietes will host a boxing event Saturday February 21. Former Philippine jr.flyweight champ Jerson ?Smooth Operator? Mancio will be pitted against Jonas ?Zorro? Sultan in the ten round main event.
Sultan (6-2,4KO?s) has scored back to back TKO wins against Renante Suacasa and Andrew Palas. Mancio (18-5-3,9KO?s) is making a comeback after losing his Philippine title to Benezer Alolod last year. In 2013, Mancio also lost in his bid for the OPBF lt.flyweight title against Naoya Inoue of Japan, who is now a two-division world champ.
The ALA-Cobra ?Tunay na Lakas? fight card will coincide with the inauguration of the Donnie Nietes ALA Boxing Gym in Murcia, Negros Occidental at 3pm, followed by amateur fights at 5pm, and the ALA-Cobra TNLB card at 6pm at the Murcia Sports and Cultural Center.
Also set to see action are Geo Santisima vs Boyce Sultan (8 rounds), Jefcon Concerman vs Raul Yu (6 rounds), Pete Apolinar vs Jun Ryan Quimbo (6 rounds), Virgel Vitor vs Kenneth Neron (4 rounds), Joepher Montano vs Paul Varona (4 rounds), Ernesto Alera vs Jonnel Burlado (4 rounds) and Elmer Libo-on vs Richard Lumogdang (4 rounds).
