BRADLEY AT RECEIVING END OF BUM DECISION VS CHAVES
By Ronnie Nathanielsz PhilBoxing.com Sun, 14 Dec 2014

Timothy ?Desert Storm? Bradley, the former two-division world champion was at the receiving end of a bum decision in his battle with Argentina?s Diego Chaves at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, similar to the decision in which he grabbed the WBO welterweight title from ?Fighter of the Decade? Manny Pacquiao on June 9, 2012 with a hugely controversial split decision.
Pacquiao however corrected the anomaly by regaining his title with a comfortable unanimous decision in a rematch on April 12, 2014.
In what was described as an exciting fight by Dan Rafael of ESPN.com, fight fans who expected Bradley to be announced as the winner were stunned when Michael Buffer announced it was a split draw.
While Burt Clements scored it 115-113 for Bradley, Julie Lederman inexplicably had Chaves the winner 116-112 while Craig Metcalfe had it 114-114.
Just like the Bradley-Pacquiao first fight the media had Bradley the winner including Rafael who scored it unofficially 119-109.
Top Rank promoter Bob Arum was incensed at the decision just like he was in the first Pacquiao-Bradley fight and was particularly harsh on Lederman claiming that was ?the worst decision? even as Arum branded her scorecard ?an absolute disgrace? and said she should not be allowed to judge in Las Vegas again.
Surprisingly her father Harold Lederman who acts as an unofficial judge for the HBO Sports coverage had Bradley the winner 116-112.
Bradley himself felt he won at least eight rounds but added, ?I?m not going to say it was horrible.?
