GOOSSEN PROMOTIONS PRESENTS ?LITTLE CREEK BRAWL VI? SATURDAY, DEC. 20, 2014
QUADRUPLEHEADER LIVE ON SHOWTIME EXTREME?

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. (Dec. 4, 2014) -- Goossen Promotions is proud to announce its return to the Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton, Wash., on Saturday, Dec. 20 with LITTLE CREEK BRAWL VI, a SHOWTIME BOXING on SHO EXTREME.

The late-addition to the 2014 boxing calendar ? and the fourth and final of back-to-back SHOWTIME boxing telecasts on consecutive weekends ? will air live on SHOWTIME EXTREME at 9 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the West Coast.

LITTLE CREEK BRAWL VI is headlined by a 12-round battle featuring World Boxing Association (?WBA?) Interim Featherweight Champion JESUS ANDRES ?El Jinete? CUELLAR (25-1, 19 KOs), of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and RUBEN ?Canelito? TAMAYO (23-4-4, 15 KOs), of Ciudad Obregon, Mexico

In the co-feature, ANTHONY PETERSON (34-1, 22 KOs) of Washington, D.C., will take on Chicago?s YAKUBU ?The Black Mamba? AMIDU (19-5-2, 17 KOs) in a 10-round junior welterweight bout.

World-class prospect JULIAN ?J Rock? WILLIAMS (17-0-1, 10 KOs), of Philadelphia, will face Torreon, Mexico veteran EDGAR ?Nene? ORTEGA (15-2, 10 KOs) in a 10-round junior middleweight clash. In the opening bout of the telecast, undefeated JULIUS ?The Chef? JACKSON (18-0, 14 KOs) of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, will battle once-beaten JONATHAN NELSON (20-1, 10 KOs), of Little Rock, Ark., in a 10-round super middleweight attraction.

?We're thrilled to finish the year with this outstanding card with our good friends at both the Little Creek Casino Resort and SHOWTIME,? said TOM BROWN of Goossen Promotions. ?It?s been a banner year for boxing and hopefully this card will set the stage for 2015.?

?It?s always a pleasure to work with Goossen Promotions, this is our fifth boxing event in 2014 and our fans always love the action-packed entertainment they provide,? said MICHAEL STARR, Chief Executive Officer of the Little Creek Casino Resort. ?It?s also great to have these fights telecast on SHOWTIME and working with their talented team of producers and on-air personalities.?

Advance tickets priced at $100, $50 and $30 are now on sale through the Little Creek Casino Resort through their website, www.Little-Creek.com or by calling 1-800-667-7711. The Little Creek Casino Resort is located at 91 W. State Route 108 in Shelton, Washington 98584. Doors will open on the night of the event at 6:00 p.m. PT.

Editor?s Note: More than 99 percent of SHOWTIME households have SHOWTIME EXTREME as part of its subscription.

The 27-year-old heavy handed southpaw Cuellar has won eight in a row, including victories over two former world champions this year: a brutal second round knockout of Juan Manuel Lopez on Sept. 11 and a dominant 12-round decision over Rico Ramos on May 2.

Cuellar is also world ranked No. 9 at 126 pounds by ESPN.com and Ring Magazine.

Also fighting out of the southpaw stance, Tamayo is a battle-tested veteran that has faced a handful of tough Mexican opponents in seven-year professional career. Most recently, Tamayo, who will be making his U.S. debut, shined with an eight round decision over Southern California?s Efrain Esquivias on April 25, 2014.

The 24-year-old Williams, thought by many to be a future world champion, will be making the fourth start of his 2014 campaign. A professional for only four years, the Philadelphia prospect already has numerous notable names on his ledger including Joachim Alcine, Michael Medina, Freddy Hernandez and Hugo Centeno Jr.

He returns to action following his career-best win over fellow undefeated prospect Eliezer Gonzalez on Sept. 11 in Las Vegas.

Upset minded Ortega will be looking to derail Williams and get back in the win column following a 10 bout win streak which was broken by Pablo Munguia on Oct. 17 in a hard-fought 10-rounder.

A 2008 Olympian and son of former world champion Julian Jackson, the 27-year-old puts his undefeated record on the line against Nelson. Jackson, who most recently stopped Crispulo Javier Andino in the second round on Aug. 1 in Cordoba, Argentina, has knocked out eight consecutive opponents.

Follow the first loss of his pro career to Brandon Gonzalez in November 2013, 28-year-old Nelson bounced back with a third round knockout of veteran Jonathan Corn on March 15 of this year.

Since suffering his only loss to Brandon Rios in a world title eliminator in 2010, the 29-year-old Peterson, of Washington, D.C., has won four in a row including a first round knockout of Edgar Riovalle on Aug. 9 in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Also 29-years-old, Amidu is a native of the boxing rich country of Ghana and has been campaigning as a lightweight and junior welterweight for the last seven years. He has faced veterans Ricky Burns, Ali Funeka and Ji-Hoon Kim.

In July of 2013, Amidu fought to 12-round draw with former world title challenger Juan Carlos Burgos.

Additional information on the undercard bouts will be announced shortly.
