DARYL BASADRE SET TO BATTLE THAI JOR CHAIJINDA FOR WBC 118-LBS YOUTH BELT IN JAPAN

PhilBoxing.com

Hard-hitting WBF International super flyweight champion Daryl "Flash" Basadre (13-1-1, 9 KO's) of General Santos City, Philippines, is set to battle unbeaten tough Thai Yodsingdaeng Jor Chaijinda (6-0, 4 KO's) for the vacant WBC Bantamweight Youth World Title on Sunday November 30 at Sangyo Hall in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, a production of fight promoter Naoyuki Kashimi, owner of Kashimi Boxing Gym.

The clash at the Japanese "Marsh of Gold City" is a chance for both 22-year-old fighters to advance their fighting careers in the 118-lbs weight-class, a division where the top warrior is unbeaten Japanese speedster Shinsuke Yamanaka (22-0-2, 16 KO's).

The Filipino Daryl "Flash" Basadre, born in Cagayan de Oro, comes to this war from a non-title unanimous decision win over Davaoe?o veteran Philip Parcon last September, while Jor Chaijinda - an experienced former Muay Thai combatant - is back in the square ring after demolishing an unheralded fellow Thai in less than 3 minutes of boxing last August in the northeastern province of Ubon Ratchathani in The Kingdom of Thailand.

This clash will be Daryl Basadre's fifth rumble in 2014, being his most telling win the capturing of the World Boxing Federation (WBF) international 115-Lbs belt, a victory that he achieved by ravaging compatriot Julius Alcos in two rounds at Gensan's Lagao Gym last March. Experienced boxing Manager Jim Claude Manangquil of Gensan (Daryl Basadre's handler) will accompany him in his important assignment in Japan. They are booked to fly to the Land of the Rising Sun on Friday November 28th.

"Basadre is in good shape," assures Manangquil.

"He has been training hard at Gensan's Sanman Gym as he had a scheduled November 8 fight, which got cancelled. But he continued training.

"Now, he has this important fight (against the Thailander Jor Chaijinda) that is winnable.

"Daryl Basadre has just sparred 10 more rounds, looking good. All together he will have made around 110 sparring rounds total. I do think Daryl can win this November 30 fight in Japan.

"Because Daryl Basadre is a good fighter with heart and skills. Although he is underrated. Me and (General Santos City boxing manager) Dexter Tan work hard for his career. We co-manage Daryl."

Will the Filipino hopeful Daryl "Flash" Basadre be able to outsmart, box and punish the tough undefeated strong former Muay Thai boxer Yodsingdaeng Jor Chaijinda in Japan... or will it be the other way around?

Watch a 14-minute video of the Thailander Jor Chaijinda and get your own conclusions. Jor Chaijinda is the boxer with yellow trunks.
