Ancajas to fight Majiha in Pacquiao-Algieri undercard By Lito delos Reyes PhilBoxing.com Tue, 11 Nov 2014 ![]() INTERNATIONAL Boxing Federation Pan Pacific superflyweight champion Jerwin Ancajas of Panabo will fight against Fadhili Majiha of Tanzania in the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao?s WBO welterweight title defense against unbeaten junior welterweight champion Chris Algieri on November 23 (Manila Time) in Macau. ?Confirmed na siya na kalaban ni Jerwin,? said Raides ?Nonoy? Neri, chief trainer of MP Boxing Gym Davao. Majija has a fight record of 15 wins with 7 knockouts, 5 loses and 4 draws against Ancajas? 21-1-1, 13 KOs. The 22-year old Ancajas previously knocked out Indonesian Rochmad Santoso in the first round last August 23 at the Almendras gym. He also stopped in the opening round Petchwanchai Sor Visetkit of Thailand last May 3 at the USEP Gym for the IBF Pan Pacific crown. Ancajas' only defeat was when he lost to Mark Anthony Geraldo for the WBO Asia Pacific youth superflyweight title by a majority decision last March 17, 2012. Meanwhile, flashy Aston Palicte also of the MP Promotions will next fight on December 16 to a still undetermined opponent in Shanghai, China. According to Pacquiao?s adviser Michael Konz, the 23-year old super flyweight Palicte was given a fight in Shanghai as his reward for a smashing first round knockout last Saturday against Gerpaul Valero at the Almendras gym in the ?Tibay ng Pinoy V?. Palicte now has record of 14-1, 12 KO?s. Palicte?s only loss was when he retired in the fourth round of a ten round bout against Romnick Magos on December 1, 2012 in a clash for the vacant WBO Asia Pacific Youth title after he dropped Magos in the opening round but was himself dropped in rounds three and four. Since the loss Palicte has strung together five knockouts in a row. ?
