Casimero comeback next month in Kyrgyzstan?

Three-division world champion John Riel Casimero is set to return to the ring in Kyrgyzstan on 25 October, according to a source with knowledge of the negotiations relative to the Filipino puncher’s much-awaited comeback bout.
The event takes place a day before Orient-Pacific Boxing Federation bantamweight king Kenneth Llover faces a yet-to-be-named opponent, also in Kyrgyzstan.
Mexican Luis Nery will feature in the co-main event.
Casimero, making his Kameda Promotions debut, will battle a Japanese fighter.
The Leyte-born banger was suspended by the Japan Boxing Commission (JBC) for coming in overweight against Saul Sanchez in Yokohama last October.
The suspension will be lifted next month.
Despite a first-round KO, he was again criticized for repeated weight issues and was unable to fight since that sensational but controversial victory.
The same source said that the plan is for Casimero and Nery to slug it out in late-December or early next year.
