Southern Sports Heroes Night on Sept. 28

THE 2025 Sports Heroes Night will be held on September 28, Sunday at the Grand Ballroom of The Royal Mandaya Hotel in Davao City.
It is presented by the Southern Sports Digest in coordination with Davao Sportswriters Association.
“We will be honoring sports heroes and those who have helped and contributed to the development of sports from the Davao Region, from the past and the present,” said Leonard Paul Palo of Southern Sports Digest.
The awardees will be based on their accomplishments in their respective fields of sports until the first quarter of 2025.
The other members of the selection committee are Jon Develos of Live One TV, Chito Malabanan of Edge Davao, Dennis Lazo of DXUM Radyo Ukay Davao 819 Am Band, Marlon Gayog of Energy FM Davao/Spin Media and Lito delos Reyes of Fightnews Asia and PhilBoxing.
