Former Filipino world champion Mark 'Magnifico' Magsayo lost by unanimous decision to undefeated Las Vegas native Andres Cortes on the undercard of the Ryan Garcia vs Conor Benn WBC welterweight championship at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Saturday night (Sunday morning in Manila).
The three judges submitted identical scores of 97-93 in favor of Cortes in the 10-round lightweight battle.
Cortes upped his undefeated record to 26 wins while Magsayo dropped to 29-3-0, 19KOs.
