Benn stepped onto the scale first, tipping the scales at 146.0 lbs—a full pound under the welterweight ceiling. The weigh-in mark served as a major relief for the British contender's camp, as Benn was making the 147-pound limit for the first time in over four years following recent stints at higher weight classes.
Shortly after, Garcia hit the scales comfortably at 145.5 lbs, silencing pre-fight rumors regarding a grueling weight cut following his absence from Wednesday's public face-off.

With both combatants clearing the scales without issue, the two rivals engaged in an intense, security-surrounded final face-off.
