FANS FAVOR MARQUEZ OVER BRADLEY By Alon Calinao Dy PhilBoxing.com Fri, 04 Oct 2013  The fight between the two great boxers - American Timothy "Perfect Storm" Bradley and Mexican Juan "Dinamita" Marquez will take place on Oct. 12, 2013 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. As their battle is fast approaching, many boxing fans believe that Marquez will come out as a winner in this contest for two possible reasons. First, Marquez has a broader experience in boxing compared to Bradley. Second, in terms of power, speed, and flexibility in the ring, Marquez has proven that he has a lot to offer than Bradley. Bradley has no command to knock Marquez out as many pugilists would say. Bradley may be a tough opponent for Marquez, but Marquez is quicker than Bradley. In the interview, Marquez had promised to let his fists do the talking. Timothy Bradley is not Floyd Mayweather, Jr. who could back up whatever he says in the media about what he is going to do of his rival. Most everyone believes that this is just another good hype for Bradley to have a big payday in his career after a highly controversial win against Filipino Manny Pacquiao on June 9, 2012 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise, Nevada. Most boxing fans around the world said that Bradley should be ashamed for holding the WBO Welterweight title. Now, Marquez is coming off to take away the championship belt that should rightfully belong to him after he defeated Pacquiao by knockout on Dec. 8, 2012 at the same venue where he fought Bradley six months ago. Nevertheless, Timothy Bradley still remains a viable threat for the Mexican boxer Marquez on their upcoming fight next week. In the opinion of some boxing experts, Bradley won't be able to defend well his title against Marquez, because he doesn't deserve the championship belt he is holding now, as it was a gift from the three biased judges who gave him a nod despite his poor performance in 2012. Even if he wins this contest, his controversial fight against Manny Pacquiao will still continue as one of the biggest issues in history of boxing....
