?Hercules? Doliguez unfazed
By Dennis U. Eroa PhilBoxing.com Tue, 16 Jul 2013

RISING featherweight Jun Doliguez, who is unbeaten in 16 fights, is unfazed by the impressive record of opponent Ruben Tamayo. The Doliguez-Tamayo bout is scheduled on July 20 in Mexico.
Originally, Doliguez (16-0-1, 12 KO?s) of the Saved by the Bell Promotion, was pitted against WBO Intercontinental featherweight titleholder Jose ??Negro?? Ramirez but the latter opted out due to money matters.
But the 5-foot-7 native of Sarangani, Province isn?t bothered by the change in his opponent. ??There is no problem. My preparations are perfect,?? Doliguez told Philboxing.
Team Doliguez composed of trainer Benny dela Pena and Dagul Martinez are currently sweating it out at Freddie Roach?s Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles. SBB executive Danny Anuran will join them on Wednesday.
Tamayo is not a pushover. The Mexican replacement has a record of 22-4-3 with 16 knockouts. A southpaw nicknamed Canelito, Tamayo hails from Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico.
Tamayo?s fresh from winning over Juan Beltran, who quit in the fourth round.
??This not an easy fight for Jun,?? said SBB President Elmer Anuran., who has a two-year promotional contract with Zanfer Promotions. ??Jun?s determined to make a big impression in his first fight outside the Philippines.??
