NBA -- O.J. Mayo agrees to 3-year deal with Bucks

PhilBoxing.com

CHICAGO -- Ovinton J'Anthony "O.J." Mayo has come to terms with the Milwaukee Bucks. The deal, three years for a reported $24 million, won't become official until July 10 when the NBA lifts the moratorium on signings.

The 25-year-old Mayo is expected to be the Bucks' 2-guard, likely to replace Monta Ellis, who opted out of the final year of his contract hoping to ink a lucrative multi-year deal elsewhere.

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Mayo, a college star at the University of Southern California, played for the Dallas Mavericks last season where he averaged 15.3 points and 4.4 assists per game. Mayo spent his first four years with the Memphis Grizzlies. .

Picked 3rd overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2008 NBA draft, Mayo was traded to the Grizzlies along with Marko Jaric, ,Antoine Walker and Greg Buckner, swapping them for the 5th overall pick Kevin Love, Mike Miller, Brian Cardinal, and Jason Collins. (JAM)
