NBA Finals Game 7 tickets
By Rodene Ivan B. Cortes PhilBoxing.com Fri, 21 Jun 2013
NEW YORK -- Game 7, as they say, is the best two words in sports.
And so it is in this 2013 NBA Finals. A Game 7 is required to crown a champion. Spurs versus Heat for all the marbles.
It cannot get better than this. San Antonio is gunning for its fifth Larry O'Brien trophy since 1999, while the Heat, in their straight NBA Finals, are looking to scorer back-to-back titles.
It's Big Three versus Big Three. Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili of the veteran Spurs against Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and four-time NBA MVP LeBron James of the new generation Heat.
Fittingly, watching this epic is live at the American Airlines Arena is worth its price in gold.
According to Darren Heitner of Forbes.com, tickets to today's megs sports event costs an arm and a leg. The cheapest ticket is priced at just under $400, and those are SRO (standing room only), meaning the buyer won't even have seats but a spot in the arena somewhere near the nosebleed section.
The average ticket price for this Game 7 is $1,537.79. The most expensive ticket at the American Airlines Arena is a courtside seat valued at $58,000.
The last NBA Finals Game 7 was played in 2010, when the Los Angeles Lakers tripped the Boston Celtics, 83-79. The average ticket price for that showdown was $1,880.19. (RIBC)
