NBA -- Pacers force Game 7 in Miami By Michael Medina PhilBoxing.com Mon, 03 Jun 2013 INDIANAPOLIS -- Once again, the Pacers proved their doubters wrong and blew out the Heat on Saturday night. Paul George and Roy Hibbert were too much for the Heat to handle after combining for 52 points and shooting an astounding 56% from the floor. "I tell Paul I have his back all the time, he has the chance to be the MVP for next season. Hibbert had this to say after Paul George showed the true qualities of a future MVP. Again, the Pacers showed how important rebounding can be and how getting second chance opportunities can alter the outcome of the game. Although Lance Stephenson did not contribute much on the scoreboard, he was excellent on the boards and grabbed a total of 12 rebounds, which was a big factor in Saturday night's win. West also snagged down 14 rebounds despite playing with a temperature of 103 F. "This guy is all heart," Coach Frank Vogel mentioned of veteran David West. West was still able to finish with 11 points along with his 14 rebounds. Hometown-hero George Hill came in big and gave the team a huge boost in the win. After an abysmal game in Game 5, he came back strong and scored 16 points for the Pacers. The Pacers made an amazing 50% of their shot attempts which also help keep them in control throughout the game. Lebron James seemed like he was the only Heat player who was making things happen for the Heat. "They are struggling right now," said James of his teammates Bosh and Wade. James scored 29 points for the Heat, but the second closest scorers were Wade and Chalmers, both only combining for 20 points. Bosh has been struggling throughout the series and hasn't been taking it in the paint because of Hibbert's presence. Bosh has only been relying on his jumpshots throughout the series. He only made one 3-pointer for the night, which seemed like it actually had a lucky bounce. The Heat were never able to take control of the game and their body language said it all, It seemed like there was frustration among the team. Chris Andersen's suspension was also no help for the Heat, who has been an X-factor in the series. Game 7 will be on Monday at Miami where both teams are one win away from the NBA Finals.
