CHICAGO- With the exception of Derrick Rose, the Chicago Bulls seem to be getting themselves healthy for the first time in quite a while.
After losing four of their last five outings, the Bulls were able to bounce back Monday in a win over the Magic in Orlando. The 102-84 victory showcased a re-focused Chicago team, ready for the playoffs.
Chicago (44-37) can secure the No. 5 seed in the East with a tie to Atlanta, beating the Hawks two of three during the regular season. They’ll face Brooklyn if they finish fifth or Indiana Pacers should they finish sixth.
Bulls have dropped two straight against the Wizards (29-52), but both games were played in Washington. Wizards have lost seven of eight in Chicago, winning only seven on the road all season.
Wizards come to Chicago losers of five straight including a blown 17 point lead Monday in Brooklyn. Wall, the Wizards few bright spots, since his return has averaged 25 points in his last 12 games. Including a 27 point, 9 assists, 8 rebound night against the Bulls last, a game the Wizards won 90-86.
Washington’s Bradley Beal (Leg), Nene (Foot, Knee) and Martell Webster (Abdomen) are out for the game.
Watch as the Wizards attempt to win the season series for the first time since 07-08. (FG)
