Dragon Fire Final Presser By Brett Bonetti PhilBoxing.com Sat, 13 Apr 2013 WBA Fighter of the Decade Chris ?The Dragon? John (48-0-2, 22 KOs) faced off with big punching Satoshi ?Bazooka? Hosono (23-2, 17 KO?s) at the Dragon Fire final presser at the Sultan Hotel in Jakarta today. Chris John will defend his WBA World Featherweight Title for the 18th time on Sunday night at the Senayan Indoor Tennis Stadium in Jakarta against Hosono and the ?The Dragon? is confident he will once again retain his title. ?We?ve learned Hosono?s fighting style, and I believe I can handle him in the ring,? John said Hosono was calm at the presser and believes he will claim the title with a good victory over John. ?I just trained hard as usual, no special training for this fight with Chris John,? Hosono said. In the Co-Main Event, Daud ?Cino? Yordan (30-2, 23 KO?s) defends his IBO World Featherweight Title against South African Simpiwe ?V12? Vetyeka (24-2, 14 KO?s). Nick Durandt, the trainer for Vetyeka, tried his best to provoke Daud Yordan by yelling out and speaking very loud during the presser. ?There will be only Daud and Simpiwe in the ring,? Durandt yelled out. ?Yordan?s supporters will not come into the ring; we?re coming to Jakarta and will defeat Daud Yordan.? "After Daud Yordan, we will come to Jakarta again to defeat Chris John,? Durandt continued. Yordan kept his composure throughout. ?I agree with you, only me and Simpiwe in the ring, let?s prove it,? Yordan said. Chris John was asked about the provocation coming from Durandt. ?It?s nonsense, I know Daud, and I believe Daud is a better fighter that Vetyeka,? John said.
