Prior to the fight Sosa told the WBC website he had what it takes to defeat Solis and saw no problem in fight in Solis’ hometown of Guadalajara.
Solis who had beaten Sosa twice before said he was sure it would happen again but the fighter who lost his IBFlight flyweight title by a sensational 11th round knockout to Brian Viloria at the Araneta Coliseum on April 19, 2009 couldn’t deliver on his promise.
