The trainer of former world light flyweight champion Giovanni Segura who is moving up in weight to fight WBO flyweight champion Brian Viloria at the Ynares Sports Arena on Sunday says ?his condition is perfect. He has very good technique for the fight, good strategy and a good plan.? In an interview with the Manila Standard during Segura?s workout at the Planet Jupiter Gym in Makati, Capetillo said Segura ?is in condition to go twelve rounds non-stop and is in good shape but with the power that he has five or six rounds should be enough? to knock out Viloria and win his second world title. A member of Team Segura, Ricardo ?Arturo? Mota said Segura had trained for two-and-a-half months and comes to the fight in ?very, very good condition. We have no excuse. We know Viloria is a good boxer too and I think this is going to be a good fight.? Mota said he had the greatest respect for Viloria. Mota said ?I feel like I was in Mexico. The people, the traffic. The people are so nice. The Filipinos are very good people.? The 29 year old Segura who has a record of 28-1-1 with 24 knockouts is coming off a 1st round TKO of Eddy Zuniga last June 18. Among the Filipino fighters Segura beat were former world title challenger Juanito Rubillar over whm he scored a 6th round TKO on July 25, 2009 and Sonny Boy Jaro whom he knocked out in the 1st rund of a WBA title fight on November 21, 2009.
