Tacurong excited to play in Buhangin slugfest

THE Tacurong City amateur boxing team is excited to play in the one-day tournament set on August 9 at the Buhangin Gym in Barangay Buhangin Proper, Davao City.
“I'm a bit excited because it's our first time going to Davao,” said Coach Ian “Cy Cy” Revilla.
It is headed by Revilla’s younger brother Cyril Joshua, a 56-kilogram and a former Palarong Pambansa and 2023 SRAA gold medalist.
Also seeing action for Tacurong are Xheyvier Jhay Abarredo [53kg], Chase Walter Barroca [46kg], Mark Jade Bitamor [48kg], Ramel Montigao [43kg], Arnold Posadas Jr. [38kg], Jairuz Dueño [47kg], Ronnie Palencia [49kg], Harold Patches [44kg] and Kurt Cyrus Fermo [50kg].
“It's exciting because they are preparing, and we are also preparing to provide a thrilling and beautiful fight for the people of Davao,” said Revilla.
Tacurong will play against the NP Team of Bansalan and Davao City.
It will be hosted by Buhangin Proper Punong Barangay Francisco “Kap” Gamad.
