Wagdos wins 5000m in DC Athletic Festival

DAVAO CITY -- Veteran Sonny Wagdos of Philippine Air Force won again the 5000 meter run in the men’s category of the 2nd DC Athletic Festival last Sunday, March 24 at University of Mindanao Matina track oval.
Wagdos made a repeat by clocking 15 minutes, 7.43 seconds. He was followed by individual runner Cronie Melliza at 16 minutes, 13.18 seconds.
Third is Anthony Nersa also of PAF with a time of 16 minutes, 34.94 seconds.
More than 900 participants from 32 teams saw action in the two-day event.
