De La Vega: Hey SoCal Basketball Fans, Here's A Great Gift For Christmas

PhilBoxing.com

By the time you folks read this article, there will be less than 80 days before Christmas. That is just around the corner. And, it will be here before you even know it. Therefore, it would not hurt at all if you prepare.

Now if you are from SoCal and a huge basketball fan, but for some reason or another, you can?t afford season tickets, one great thing to do for yourself or a family member and even a friend is to get game tickets for Christmas and watch one of the only five basketball games the NBA schedules of Christmas Day.

Yes you read it right. Game tickets for Christmas Day!

And, what would be more appropriate than a game ticket featuring two of LA?s greatest basketball teams, the LA Clippers and the LA Lakers.

Lakers' Anthony Davis and Lebron James.

Reports indicate that the two will meet at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles on Christmas Day. With the new roster of players, expect to see a humdinger of a game. And, I promise you it will be worth your time and the money you will spend!

Would it be awesome seeing superstar LeBron James?and new teammate?Anthony Davis?fight for rebounds and hit the dunks against Kawhi Leonard?and?Paul George?

The Clippers' Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.

Unlike last year, when James almost had to carry the Lakers all by himself, this year is a totally new story. He has Anthony Davis with him and that certainly lessens the load to carry. Davis is a superstar in his own accord and has many times proven his worth in the game. Then there is Dwight Howard and Danny Green as well. It would not be too far off to say that the Lakers may make the finals this year.

The same goes for the Clippers. Long gone are their former stars like Blake Griffin and Chris Paul. But, with the addition of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, the chances of the Clippers doing extremely well and making the play-offs and even winning it all has increased exponentially. Ivica Zubac, Pat Beverly and Landry Shamet join Leonard and George as the starters for the Clippers.

That alone should merit seeing a game. And, it would be fun seeing it Christmas Day. For all you know, you maybe seeing a preview of this season?s NBA Western Conference Finals.
