LAS VEGAS -- Steph Curry and Kevin Durant put on a shooting display but it wasn't enough as the Los Angeles Lakers won, 123-113, on Wednesday night at a packed T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Steph was being Steph, 23 points on 6-of-11 from the field, 2-of-3 form long distance and 9-of-9 from the free throw stripe, while Durant finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Klay Thompson drilled 20 but Draymond Green (left knee) didn't see action for Golden State, which converted only 42 of 96 field goals.
LeBron James played only 18 minutes but he still stuffed the stats sheet with 15 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma combined for 48 points and veteran Kentavious Caldwell-Pope chipped in 22. Lance Stephenson added 12.
It was only the Lakers' second win in five preseason outings and they notched the victory by swishing 39 of 90 shots (43.3 percent), 7-of-23 triples (30.4 percent) and 38 of 46 freebies (82.6 percent).
The Warriors fell to 1-3.
