BABY ISRAEL STEALS SHOW DURING DAD MANNY'S TRAINING By Eddie Alinea PhilBoxing.com Tue, 11 Oct 2016 Manny Pacquiao and Jinkee Pacquiao's youngest of their brood of five -- Baby Israel -- is barely two years-old but has already shown the making of a superstar. Dont look now, but Baby Israel had, in fact, stole the show from his illustrious eight-division Dad and former beauty queen Mom during one of Pacquiao's training sessions last week in preparation for his coming encounter with World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Jessie Vargas. No, baby Israel did not exhibit the dancing skills displayed by Riley Curry, eldest daughter of 2015 NBA champions Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry during an affair the basketball superstar attended last year nor the cute personality she showed during a press conference that made her an instant celebrity. The younger Pacquiao instead joined his father atop the ring and imitated exactly what Dad was doing like shadow boxing and limbering up exercises. Baby Israel even aped Manny's superb form in sparring. To the delight, of course, of Manny and Jinkee themselves, chief trainer Freddie Roach, strength and conditioning coach Justin Fortune, members of Team Pacquiao present as well as some 100 spectators. Like Riley Curry, baby Israel, no doubt, emerged the star of the show that Thursday afternoon as he served notice of becoming a celebrity in the mold of his Daddy Manny and Mommy Jinkee. "Baby Manny," as Jinkee fondly calls him, for his being copycat of the ring icon, possesses quite a pleasing personality worthy of being the youngest member of the adorable Pacquiao celebrity family. "Napaka-cute na bata," exclaimed one spectator, a client of the Elorde Boxing Gym where the former Sarangani Congressman and now Senator has been in deep training for his November 5 date with the Mexican-American 147-pound titlist. "Baka magmamana sa pagiging boxer ng daddy niya," butted in another, who added he's not surprised seeing the cute and adorable baby Israel owing to his parents' known reputation as "super sweet" Dad and Mom, too, to elders Jimuel, Michael, Princess and Queenie. After Baby Israel's "show", Pacquiao held him in his arms and kissed him as Jinkee approvingly looked on. "Siya (Baby Israel) is now the apple of the eyes of Manny," Jinkee told this writer. "Mutual naman ang admiration nilang dalawa. Kaya nga sinama ko na siya pagluwas dito sa Maynila." "Miss na niya Daddy niya at miss na rin naman siya ni Manny," Jinkee added. "Pag magkakasama nga kami sa bahay si Manny pa ang napapatulog sa kanya." Click here to view a list of other articles written by Eddie Alinea. |
